What data we process and why

Website visits: the server automatically logs the IP address, browser, page visited and time. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and operation of the website. Kept for at most 180 days.

Forms (sign-up, claiming a listing, AI check): business name, your name, email, phone, website and message. Legal basis: your consent and the pre-contractual steps you ask for. Kept while we handle your request and, if nothing is ordered, for at most 12 months.

Business accounts: email, login dates and a log of the changes you make to your listing. Legal basis: the contract. Kept while you have access and up to 12 months after.

Customers: billing details. Legal basis: legal obligation. Kept for the periods required by tax and commercial law (up to 6 years).

Recipients

We don't sell or pass on data to third parties. The website runs on our own servers in Spain. We only share data with authorities when the law requires it.

Social media posts only load after your click; from then on the privacy policy of that platform applies (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Facebook), which may process data outside the EU.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to its processing, ask for restriction or portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@grancanariapromotions.com. If you disagree with our answer, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and, for business accounts, password-free login with one-time links.

We may update this policy. The date of the last revision is shown at the bottom of this page.
